frequently asked questions

Who can get an IV infusion?

Almost anyone! Call or text us for a free consultation with our nurse practitioner to see if our custom IV Infusions are right for you.

Will you come to me even if I have covid-19?

Yes, we will. We are trained and have PPE to assure we follow CDC guidelines appropriately.

How does it work?

Our experienced and trained Registered Nurses (RN) insert a small catheter directly into your vein. The catheter is then connected to an IV line that is connected to the custom infusion of your choice. The infusion bag hangs on a pole or hook above your head allowing gravity to carry the infusion into your vein naturally. Immediately replenishing your body and enhancing its repair mechanisms.

Why would I benefit from an IV infusion from Mobile IV MKE?

Our bodies are made up of 60% water, and 1 in 3 people are chronically dehydrated. Water is vital to every single cell in our body and is important to maintain homeostasis (balance). Proper hydration aides in flushing toxins out the body, regulating body temperature and improving overall wellness at the cellular level.

Does it hurt?

Everyone has a different pain tolerance. You will feel a small pinch but just for a quick second. We do offer cold spray that helps with comfort, we understand needles can be scary so just let us know!

How long does it take?

Most of our infusions range from 30-45 min. IV Pushes take 10 minutes or less.

How Often should I receive IV therapy?

This depends on the individual and reason for therapy. For health prevention and wellness, most benefit from 1-2 infusions a month. For a more specific treatment regimen, therapy can be done 1-2 times a week and tailored to your specific needs. Vitamin shots should be given 1-3 times weekly for a month for optimal results.

What is in the infusions and what does it treat?
